To be honest, I don't have a favorite song, or a band/artist, I just love loads. But a band that's taken my intrest and I've been listening to non stop for several months is Eluveitie. They're my favorite Folk Metal band and blend folk with metal well, since they have drums, guitars and bass, but also fiddles, bagpipes, wistles and hurdy gurdy's. And if you don't like heavy music so much, they have some fantastic instrumental pieces which are very traditional.
Folk Is Good, Metal is Good, only amazingness can come out of this. and it's alll thatnks to the first Folk metal band, Skyclad that started in 1990.
Ofcors, there's always other types of metal that fall under the folk metal scene, celtic metal, pagan metal, viking metal, pirate metal, beard metal (:
Anyway, what's wrong with metal?

Lol cool, I'd not heard of Eluveitie before! They seem pretty good xD I like weird music mixes. I just generally like a wide variety of music too ;D
At the moment I'm all 80s powerballads -
My favourite band of all time (I think, it's hard to decide!) is Muse:
As for strange genre mixes, Afro Celt Sound System are amazing xD They are basically what it says.. Celtic music with African influences and a kind of techno beat!
My favourite metal bands are probably Arch Enemy, In Flames and Children of Bodom.
My old band used to cover this:
And this is just awesome! -

I don't have anything against rap. Music is technically an art, and as long as the artist is expressing him/her self how he/she wants to, then fine. I just don't really like it that much.
I do have a lot of respect for Eminem though.

This is where our paths must part Cell. I used to kinda like them, but now I don't so much. They have a lot of potential I think, but, I dunno I just kinda went off them. I can see why a lot of people like them though.
This is my favorite female lead band; They're called Nightwish and they're an Opra/Symphonic Metal band.
